Module 3

Module 3 is based on a commonly used instructional design model called the ADDIE model. ADDIE stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. These five steps of the ADDIE model are the phases of the overall instructional design process. Of all the modules you have reviewed thus far, this will be the most intensive and time consuming module. Our intent for you in this module is that you use the steps of the ADDIE model to build a sample lesson plan. These steps tend to overlap, but in using this module, you will realize the effective use of the instructional design principles in an online course.

This module consists of 18 units which guides you through the instructional design process.`
